Agroecology

I have long been involved in aiding SSA small farmers in various ways and eventually I had to learn some basic agriculture.
With the help of an agriculture expert thousands of subsistence farmers have now been introduced to basic agroecology and many are surviving bad conditions thanks to an edible cover crop.

This project was organised via their mobile phones with the keen support of a Ugandan pastor who realised the potential of cover crops to re-fertilise their soil. It has reached thousands of small farmers!

It also has climate change potential!
When an NGO is found to take charge of this project it could help bury a great deal of carbon from the atmosphere!
